whenever there's an article with the whole aesop of... 'bezos made his grandmother cry with this one quip' and similar, i'm always super curious about what the grandmother or less-known figure thinks of that whole ... interaction?
eye-roll worthy? blown out of proportion? hilarious? (mine would lol)
not even that - what kinna shit they feel like is *important*, what's the thing that they'd rather be known to history instead? gardening project, their own career? a funnier quip?
just... man, those people always seem so much more interesting than the dude (it's usually a dude) that's being interviewed lol
(idk this also probably ties into similar-feelings about being viscerally nauseous on seeing/interacting with celeb photos unless i can confirm they deliberately chose to do a photoshoot or something... being a viral voyeur makes me so uncomfortable.)
