- category: free speech activists - one of the coolest link digs I did recently was to stumble upon this wikipedia category and tab-right on every minority/lady listed here. : o  found a ton of books to dig into, and the one consistent thread that i've seen is that all the free-speech focused minorities and ladies were wildly ... eccentric (lovingly), but they all had something taboo-to-society that was really important for them to say. often at the loss and risk of their own lives, and being shunned from their own social circles.

- America Without God, The Atlantic (article) - I haven't cared for the site in years but this has been one of their better articles wrt idealogical trends.

- a course in demonic creativity (ebook) - the dude's title sounds absolutely nuts. nuts. but dang if this wasn't one of the most thoughtful, nuanced ebooks i have ever read on creativity and research for my muse zine (as mentioned earlier). I'm probably going to reread this sometime soon and throw up a bunch of quotes because there was some cool stuff.

- VHS Photoshop action (art resource) - I've been hunting for a solid / subtle photoshop action (basically an automated script) for the VHS look more than just 'shift the RGB channels a lil' and have been woefully dissapointed with the usual offerings out there as somebody who, you know, still uses a VCR to this day unironically. (the fam and I like using stuff till it breaks, it's a thing. sometimes you get cool vintage equipment out of it, and you're inadvertently doing the world a favor ig?). ANYWAY this PS action is the only one I've seen that *actually* reproduces the look faithfully, it's a treat.

- david bowie's top 100 books (archive.org) - apparently bowie made a list of his top 100 books once upon a time, and while archive.org doesn't have all of them free to read, there is a vast majority of them, and it is incredibly fascinating seeing what *he* thought was insightful as well as just the sheer collection of great books as a little time portal into the 80's-90's.

- taurean cheer tarot readings - disclaimer: the tarot reader's been a dear friend for a long while, however, I'm throwing this link in here because they're also the only card reader I trust. in that sort of nameless toe-tingling way. recently facing a lot of uncertainties and I scheduled a reading this past week as it's what I did about two years ago, and ... found it massively reassuring, both times. incisive, subtle sense of gentle humor, practical, spookily accurate where it matters, thinks in nuanced patterns and systems so you never get the sense of phoniness.
