So I saw this and was trying to sell my GF on the cars one because it does sound cool, but somewhere in there she missed that the cars were humanized so I'm sitting here trying to convince her and she's still thinking that they're both still cars in the story for a good five minutes while i excitedly go "nascar lesbians!"

and then she saw the tags on ao3, and then she was a good bit less confused. We got a laugh out of it.
