I loved this, I was nodding along with your take on tasteful as a term applied to art. I've been wrestling with finding a way to talk about art that is seen as "taboo", "gross", or "shocking" in a way that doesn't place a value judgement on the piece but also acknowledges that it's not for everyone.
Also, "tasteless art is holy, in its own way." is the God's honest truth and I want this etched into my eyeballs so I remember it forever.
You two did so fuckin' amazing on Falke, it's an absolutely sexy experience to read. Congratulations on sticking it out, it was worth it to add to the proud canon of nazisploitation art.
