im gonna bet against nobody in particular that the next legendary banner is sothe (wind + colorless) with a daein theme of jill/zihark/tauroneo :3c  writing this down as serenesforest feels pretty confident about Sothe (i agree), but it makes sense, timing wise, for it to be Daein...

anyway i've been really enjoying my FE:H time lately; just picked up Brave Claude as my free pick for the Three Houses selection... and man those Forging Bonds conversations have ruled. For pretty throwaway lines, honestly, the writing's right below RD in terms of quality, which I never thought I'd say.  First he had a hilarious convo with Narcian, then an insanely quotable one with Iago, then Gangrel who straight up saw through his shit .... man if Claude has a convo with Valter imma yell

but honestly they handled the 'what the 3H lords do if they were accidentally warped into the same world as their younger selves?' sort of plot hole so gracefully... the debate amongst themselves, the tensions.... Lysthelia opening up to Fjorm about sharing shortened life-spans and how they deal with it (or not)... this is the kind of meaty semi-ethical 'how the fuck do you deal with this' questions i loooooveeeee, that unfortunately didn't get as explored in 3H as I thought it would. TAT;  it's ... unusually deft and self-aware for Nintendo, this writing, (even their lvl40 'confessions' which are clearly avatar-waifu!bait have straight up moved me half to tears; I remember legendary!Ike's being particularly noteworthy for a well timed 'you can do this' nudge when I was feeling particularly nihilistic.) so color me constantly impressed.
