my brain was thinking about the zihark doujin and the muarim/zihark ship i had been stuck on (key word: had)

and went o no (oho)..........

what if muarim and zihark had been in this sort of on-off relationship since they reunited at the beginning of RD's events (extremely plausible given how surprisingly close they were in the previous three years, and also how, i think, isolated they'd be amongst a bunch of new daein people who wouldn't exactly be friendly to muarim) .... and then that thing happens where izuka tries poisoning muarim, and well, half succeeds with the feral elixir

and zihark gets wind of it
