• had a genuinely delightful eyedoc(!) appointment where my eyes are doing way better than they expected, so he's setting the schedule for the next and last cataracts surgery within the month.  It'll mean one more week of no drawing and a lot of sleeping, but it rules to see more clearly (shit's like a HiDef vs regular CRT screen of difference)  and to see that it's stabilized.

• given the light at the end of the tunnel with surgeries, gonna go apartment hunting again deliberately this summer! gonna see if I can get a space with an office and roommates with a grandma type of dear - i have learned with weekend trips with my grandma that I truly have the life routine of somebody in that age space lol. chilling by myself most of the day, happy to eat meals with somebody, lots of doctor appointments lol, maybe a cat, and no parties.

• relatedly with that, a dear friend passed this link of a nude sephiroth figure (18+ link duh) without comment (i could practically hear them smirking) and i'm gonna get it for a pre-emptive apartment/condo gift to myself. x) gotten to the point where one of life's most consistent simple pleasures is being a fangirl for the exact same villain bishies as I did on deviantart fifteen years ago, and you know what? that also rules.  seph + zihark + this alucard one i've been eying would really be the holy trinity of figurines; wouldn't feel the need to do more after that.

• almost finished with FALKE, the BL naziexploitation eroguro 10-page comic!  i've made a few tweaks to my artistic/project process this past year (mostly journaling) and it's shocking how on schedule i've been for the last two months? anyway, sent out the first round of quote requests to printers to see who backs out of printing kink stuff (which I get - not everyone's gonna be comfortable with it). excited, though, since it'll mean it ends up as a printed book, and then that printer's probably going to be used for personal projects going forward.
