Nov. 22nd, 2022 06:40 pmwork has been remarkably calm other than one or two weeks of vaguely higher paced stuff
however todayyyy I learned that the name for [$existing_cartoon_character_under_dayjob_brand] in most languages is benign, is however, something offensive in one tiny nation that said cartoon series originally wasn't meant to air for, but due to "new global growth" now is.

i am really glad i asked that sales agent about it before an Incident could occur lmao, kicking that particular can of worms upstream to see how $leadership wants to deal with it.
(in other news, still mentally on content-mindless-mental-vacation from last project, if there's anything I've been doing for the last two weeks, it is working on a christmas card for the doujin circle and cleaning up the to-do list. :v oh, and getting star wars: starfighter to work on emulation, that was neat! that'll probably be the next long form post.)
