kradeelav: Dr. Kiriko (amused)
One of the funniest things online I've learned in the last 6 months: the evergreen joke that War Thunder players can't stop leaking classified military documents.

apparently we're on, arguably, the seventh(?) time that they've done this.

the long story is that War Thunder is a game somewhere between a very detailed modern strategy game and a gacha, where players assume control of accurate-as-they-possibly-can armies of modern tanks, planes, n' stuff. The accuracy depends on a complex system of nerf-ing/buffing said machines as faithfully as possible, which is a little tricky when most of them are classified to some degree.

It is also a game that seems to attract a very narrow slice of armchair nerds who (a) cannot stand loosing an argument online of defending their tank/plane waifu, and (b) has a suspicious ability of digging up very classified documents from all kinds of international armies to support their points.

anyway, it's a fun community when you see "site policy is to NOT leak classified military documents you fools" listed in the rules. :P  (cough /r/NCD this goes for you too cough)
