Last song: one more soul to the call by the ever-peerless akira yamaoka and mary elizabeth mcglynn. I feel like there's a certian selection of mid 2000's elder internet nerd that grew up on the SH soundtrack; just know if you fit the bill i'm automatically sending you a friendly handshake.

Favorite color: black. it goes well with everything, it's understated, it's both lazy and sophisticated from a textural/sensory perspective, and i like the villain slash elder-goth connotations.

Last Movie/TV Show/Manga: I haven't watched live-action anything in at least a year; but I am just starting a read of Dungeon Meishi at the behest of lukadian ! so far it feels like a lovely cross between Osama Ranking (anime/manga), Zelda in the WW/TOTK era, and a neat deconstruction of DnD food mechanics.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Savory ~ my birthday's coming up in the next month and I'm hoping to go to one of the fancier sushi places in the city; they've got some black cod I've been hankering for a while.

Last thing I Googled searched on startpage: how to spell "mausoleum" for the current fic because gdocs gave up on my first attempt, haha.

Current Obsession: gunter fire emblem still hasn't left the premises of my brain, I can assure you of that. :P I need him around until after I finish the current fic and ideally after I finish a doujinshi, but then I'll try harder to move around to something else. have a sneaky feeling he's still going to stick around to some degree though; haven't fallen quite so hard for a character in at least a decade.

Last Book: just finished Never Split The Difference, a great hostage negotiation manual. I don't have the energy to do a full on review, but it was neat seeing how my current boss (a very political animal) naturally embodies many of the tricks mentioned here. incorporating a bunch of those verbal sleigh-of-hands into my own communication as well.

Last Fic: Just posted Ch15 of your ruin, my ruin. the best elevator pitch for the fic i have is that it's if you mashed together a gothic fantasy pulp thriller with kinky villain caretaker daddy porn. :"D  I have four scenes left of this ~130k fic which feels a little humbling in hindsight.

Looking Forward to: creating wise, I've been making great headway on both YRMR and the naziexploitation zine while waiting for my wrist RSI to heal this month. I've been meaning to finish both projects in Q1-Q2 of this year so it feels especially nice to be reasonably on time with hobby projects despite keenly missing drawing. media wise, gf and I have promised to watch Blue Eyed Samurai when she gets a new laptop that can do mutual streaming; we're both weebs who like that kind of crunchy story, and it sounds promising.
