Feb. 28th, 2024 11:23 amRSI update:
so i had to repaint a decent chunk of YRMR's back cover for print, and it was a good chance to try out the wrist again. i also wanted to try a method instead of drawing for 5 min straight; do a few strokes > 30 sec rest > do a few more > 1min rest > etc. (fits my natural drawing pattern a bit better).
overall ...it can handle about 3 sessions of 30 seconds of v e r y straight wrist'd drawing with minimal issue, even with it about to rain (arthritis acts up in rain).
i still can't do a real specific twist-flick that specific brushes need (boo) but for the thin animator's line style it's ... okay. i can at least start finishing a few drawings very very slowly, and my brain's going to relax a lot with this. i can at least fill in the rest of the time with sending out pen pal letters and finishing the anthology layout.
not exactly what i wanted to hear but it's progress. (and hey 3 weeks of no drawing is better than 3 months).
