May. 7th, 2024 09:09 pmi brought nier: automata (switch edition) not too long ago figuring i was gonna need a game for distraction (correct).
my brain, 30 minutes into the gameplay: oh it's like frogger 2. but for adults. with nice upskirt shots and shotas.
me: ... when was the last time you played a modern game that wasn't zelda / ME / FE lol
to be honest, hmm. i'm not feeling it?
which is a bummer b/c friends i respect loooooved the game and i keep bouncing off of yoko taro games (watched most of drakengaard 3 via a lets play). it's not the horny factor, i like the horny factor, (god 2B's ass and silohuette is like corrin's it's delicious.) i think it's the gameplay that I'm (a) so bad at, and (b) end up mashing buttons to the point it just feels tedious.
i'll probably give this another hour or two on friday but there's a high chance i'm gonna trade it in for red dead redemption (original) since that feels like... skyrim, but a western. (I'm digging open world games the older I get).
