queenlua in person <3 <3 mutuals should know lua's every bit as marvelous in meatspace ... we must've talked for, what, thirteen hours straight barring sleep about absolutely everything while playing smash melee and radiant dawn while munching on cheese XD literally the adult version of bff's hanging out in the dorm room. (alas i had no naesala-is-in-there RD playthrough prepped but it was honestly hilarious seeing lua's reaction to the 'krad uses all of RD's worst-on-tier-list characters on the hard mode' run lol. vika was the MVP though!! and lucia being an incredible dodgetank against 4 red dragons.).
also getting a tarot card spread read by lua was RAD as hell while we were also talking tellius tarot meta... what a badass <3
let's see, what else ... 2025 first quarter things On My Plate:
* games-wise finish elden ring & unicorn overlord in the afternoons after work; the latter's story is getting truly interesting now and i hear base game elden ring has roughly eight regions and just finished the starter area (limegrave) which is honestly not bad timing considering how huge this game is :D;;; will eventually get the DLC's depending how in-the-groove i feel.
* finish this gunter/corrin doujin strip!!!! figured out so many stylistic things that were bugging me (mostly the body language not translating well) over the holidays so art-wise i'll be focused on getting that finished before my style Changes Yet Again Spontaneously lol.
* close out this one remaining freelance project && successfully land this tradeshow at the dayjob with $former_director; tradeshow is roughly in late january... i'll be a little less anxious there once when we've proven we work well together and there'll be no more mishaps like the november clusterfuck - at that point i can basically outsource tradeshow work to him.
* finish trickster makes this world!!! i got ~74 books read last year which is pretty good, but want to see if i can average at 100 again like i used to back in college. also make visits with a few new online-turned-local-local friends. and ship out the last few canada-based christmas cards.
all in all i'll be happily busy for a while ~~
