Jan. 13th, 2025 03:28 pmi was helping mom photoshop some family photos to stick in one of those mixbook-collage-type-of-things today, and she commented "oh wow you do a lot with your left hand despite it not being your dominant one". (she was watching me over the shoulder just for fun).
huh, i thought. i look down - and yeah i forgot that was my main "keyboard shortcut hand" blitzing along with ctrl+z/p/c/etc
i then explain 'honestly it's still my non-dominant hand since whenever i "draw" with the tablet, the main drawing hand's still on the right wheras this is my secondary controls hand. it's like when you game, your dominant hand's usually on the arrow keys on the right, and jump/items are on the left"
except in hindsight, that's not always true, since there's WASD-folks, and then nintendo consoles you have the joystick on the left ...
now i wonder if the introduction of console games increased the number of ambidextrous people worldwide? :v
