it is absolutely bizarre seeing how 2014-me-in-my-tumblr-likes is much more similar to me now in my likes. it's like i got interesting again??? with actual rareish niche interests and opinions that i'm enjoying reading again. 2015-to-when-i-hiatus'd-tumblr-wholesale was just a hell of a lot of regurgitated bland popular posts / mainstream fandom / and discourse shit.

i have various theories in my head (was working and drawing my webcomic and didn't have time to seek out smaller posts)(webcomic era me was trying to get Popular lol)(got a little skittish/too anxiety-brained to interact with what I Actually Liked)(i was around people in that era who overly influenced my media tastes who i am no longer around) etc

feels weird. but kinda glad to see me there again all the same.
