Nov. 17th, 2025 11:27 amsometimes i do wonder how much less ass my childhood would have been if i had known about inflammation management.
between twice-a-year major surgeries pretty much ever year and my skeletal system being a Fuck, in hindsight i had chronic pretty severe inflammation without realizing it. i don't blame anyone/regret anything, mind you; we were operating with the best knowledge we had back then; it's easy to forget how utterly devoid of information resources even the 90's was, you couldn't just randomly go on scihub and yoink/read an academic article on your [random medical situation] and try things out.
it's funny, i've gotten actually so good about minding which ingredients kickstarts inflammation; for some reason my usual dunkin' doughnuts bulk coffee doesn't do it, but a lot of boutique coffee brands do which is slightly awkward when people give them as gifts knowing you're the coffee fanatic. XD
it tastes great! love the variety! but maybe not so great when your baseline pain level suddenly shoots up from a 2->5/6 and you're like 'huh what changed..... oh it's the coffee again isn't it, aw damn.' lol.
anyway, mentioning it here in case if it connects any dots for anyone else.
