I continually add cool links to my site; you can always see the whole link page here. Think it'd be cool to do a wee little featurette of the ones from last month ~

(Note that just because they're on the link list doesn't mean they're on my tag of #best of the wild west web and vice versa; that static page is more thematically clustered into cool artists, old web tools, and serious anti-censorship resources, wheras the tag is more just random ass fun stuff. :P ) That said ...
  • SecureDrop is a whistle-blowing program that allows folks to send documents securely to another institution they trust (journalists, etc). The documentation is here, and I'm idly wondering that after I get the pi-hole set up if another fun rainy day project would be making an instance of it, or at least tinkering with it enough to get some ideas re: artistic censorship. Good to know that it exists regardless ~ (i did not know that Aaron Schwarz made it; reading a cool book rn on journalism that involved this program and went on a rabbit trail there.)
  • Mikoto has a personal site with her artwork (both SFW and NSFW), and I love seeing that there's no shying away from queerness and kinks done in a clever way, ditto with the Moroccan influence. Love to see more comic artists being open with their erotica in their portfolios ~
  • a mailing list i'm on mentioned CensorBib, a site that collects and curates academic articles on internet censorship, though geared heavily on the tech 'nuts n bolts' side. If you're at all into the kind of paper that talks about how TOR works, you'll love downloading all of these.
  • I've been printing all of my latest physical work through Fireball Printing, so they and their peerless service and quality deserve a spot. Talk to me privately if you want more details, but it's so reassuring to see that there's a unicorn of a printer that fits the triangle of fast, quality, affordable, AND doesn't shy away from queer NSFW. (And is located in the US, to boot!)
