Ahhh fantastic!! I remember seeing this list a few years back and it compelled me to pick up a few books -- definitely "Interviews with Francis Bacon", which was fantastic, and maybe the Yukio Mishima and James Baldwin books as well. I know I've read them but I can't remember if I read them before or after seeing the Bowie list.
But it seemed like all the most interesting books on his list, especially nonfiction, were out of print or way too expensive on Thriftbooks...never occurred to me to check the archive. Brilliant, thank you!!
