You are SO right with the moralizing bits in Conquest, omg. Didn't really see it until about Ch10 or so (until Corrin leans into the war on Hoshido and finds out about Azura's whole stick) but yeah that's one glaring weakness that rings a bit odd considering how the rest of Nohr is framed. The worst bit is, it wouldn't take that much to tweak it; Corrin could still regret Hans' massacre, in the sense of 'useless, doesn't even serve a function, while still being power hungry enough that it feels like we, the player get to go ham lmao.

Past you wanting to marry Xander (and Aversa) is so correct and you should say it again. :P Fantastic taste in villainous characters, and I see what you mean about Charlotte. She's refreshingly self aware, ditto with her dynamic with Benny, and has that side of biting humor even for herself.
