1. How long have you been in fandom? / 4. What was your first fandom?
I'm gonna take "in fandom" as actively participating on sites like FF.net, fanshrines, and clubs, which would in that case be right around 20 years. stumbling on zelda fansites (thedekunut, desertcolossus, zeldablog) right before the wind waker era was essentially my first introduction to the internet at large, as the next step after "printing 200 pages of super mario sunshine gamefaqs walkthroughs off of the library computer because of dial up reasons". As briefly mentioned in this zine, the internet would be a critical portal into a whole 'nother world that I never knew existed of new ideas and characters and stories.
Always meant to write up a decently long essay on how unique zelda's fansites used to be. Remind me of that if you're interested.
2. What fandoms are you in now?
The consistent two medias I always seem to draw -- and be drawn back to -- is Fire Emblem 9/10 and Hellsing, even when the passion for others have gone dormant. That meme of being 'that one artist who draws one character for 30 years is the bedrock of fandom' is honestly both #goals and at this point a good description of my vibes; see me n' my favorite swordsmaster bishie in the current killing edge doujin I'm drawing. I also like "dead" fandoms since there's less drama and commercialization, to be perfectly blunt.
For the briefest time I did fanwork for Republic Commando (SW:EU, pre disney only), Mass Effect, Zelda, and FF7 - you can probably peg which specific era I was most active. Games and anime with sexy long haired bishies in leather will always be a particular weakness of mine; I'm very simple with one brain cell. :)
3. Do you create transformative work?
Always, and always try to create more than consuming. I'm most known as somebody who draws short little graphic strips as a hybrid of art and text, but recently deeply enjoying my experiments with doujinshi, and longer fanfiction + companion illustrations. Both have their advantages and disadvantages as far as portraying interior thought, body language, and longer scenarios, which is great because I love horribly messy as hell characters and seeing them in pain of various kinds.
I also made a fanshrine! :D
5. How often has a fic made you cry? / 6. Rec a fic you love:
Mmaaaaybe once, I'm a tough nut to crack emotionally for a few reasons. That fic would be And Wolves Beneath Our Seams (Fallout 3 with an eventual het ship). It's a character study of the main character and a ghoul bodyguard companion as they work through the events of the main game (you don't need to know anything about the Fallout series reading this; I didn't the first time).
It's the first fic I physically bound because losing this to digital rot would be unbearable, if that means anything. soul-shatteringly raw, real representation of what long-term trauma does to a person (and I'm not usually one for ~ twauma fics~). gun to my head if there's one fic I'll always rec first, it'll be this one.
7. Who's your ult OTP.
Alutegra (Integra/Alucard) from Hellsing. It felt unusual to my (very sheltered) self at that point of my life to see such a blatantly loving but deeply lopsided and kinky relationship in terms of power dynamics. Personal life circumstances being what they are, "vanilla" ships would, and are never going to appeal to me, so it was lovely having that early on as a key that unlocked the 'oh, I get what people feel now' feelings as far as love and lust goes.
horny hentai hirano-san having such a blatant gun slash femdom kink slash irreverent sense of humor that trickled into the cast writ large also didn't hurt.
8. Share a pic that would convince someone to fall for your current fandom:
Not a fandom, but I'd like to share this which would be very much my ethos in creative and transformative work.

9. Have you ever met a fandom friend IRL?
Many at this point, which is ironic considering I think myself as a misanthropic hermit LOL. There's a loose dead dove doujin circle I create with for a few years now, and we make a point to visit each other if we happen to be in the same city; it helps a lot of us are in the southeast. My long term girlfriend would also count as one, bonding over Hellsing went a long way in seeing that we had an unusual amount of thoughts, media opinions, and experiences in common.
10. Last fandom craft/merch you got?
some black jack doujinshi that has some of the slickest art I've seen in a very long time. :)

There's also my slowly growing zihark shrine :P

11. Rare pairs, big ships, or gen?
[shrug emoji] I do prefer more crack and rare pairs on average since you get less annoying harassers, the chemistry's better, and it's fun to create for rare ships since the people who *are* a fan tend to be over the moon when somebody new enters the room. Popular characters tend to get flooded with the most banal jump-on-the-bandwagon-for-clicks types.
Adjacently, I prefer a mix of F/M (order of letters fully intentional), and F/F dynamics; while I have the utmost respect for BL creatives and dabble in slash, there's a definite pattern to what I go for in terms of relationships.
12. Multi-fandom or Mono-fandom?
Who cares?
13. When did you last travel for a con, concert, fanmeet, or cupsleeve event?:
FE 9/10? my aunt gave me Path of Radiance for the birthday because she knew I had a gamecube and the rest was history. :) I started drawing zihark because nobody else was drawing him enough for my liking and ah ... never stopped? I still make a point to play that game at least once every year; pretty sure that console is indestructible.
15. What's your favorite trope?: / 16. 3 tags that will make you click no matter what:
Nagamas is always pretty fun with a consistently solid moderation team; it's a FE fan exchange around the holidays I try to make time for, though I'm having a ton of fun with
artcade which is running right now, and an original exchange friendly to kink artists.
19. What's your favorite moment from your current fandom:
There's a loose circle of us that have recently gotten into the Tellius game duology this year, and it's extremely cool seeing a bit of life breathed back into the meta, fanfiction, and general creative work, as well as general chatter in a server. It's a relief to an old to see that even for "dead" fandoms, these franchises can have waves of activity that are kinder to the soul than "get massively popular and then are dumped within six months".
On a more abstract level, I'm seeing the pendulum swing back from social media driven fandoms to smaller groups intensely interested in personal sites, making their own dead dove material, and making their own self insert works.
20. Tag three fandom friends!:
have at thee if you have the bandwidth and will ~

13. When did you last travel for a con, concert, fanmeet, or cupsleeve event?:
I’ve actually tabled twice at a convention; once roughly ten years before that, and the last time while in the mindset of promoting IRON CROWN, my webcomic about five years ago. I don’t see myself doing the con circuit again as I rather dislike how it's gotten commercialized, but both of those times were a neat before/after bookends to seeing how tabling and how anime as a culture had changed in the zeltigest. both were absolutely priceless memories with some dear friends as table-mates, and getting a chance to talk in person with lovely dears.
Even had an impromptu hellsing photoshoot at my table with several cosplayers! :D
