oh man, chewing through ff12.
going through the sewers. palace theft (what an knucklehead, vaan). balthier & fran introduction. stealing Plot Important Magic Rock. EVERYTHING that happens after, including the (first) amalia meet. the few boss fights on the way back out. fire horse boss fight. getting captured AGAIN. JUDGE INTRODUCTION. fighting your way out while following the judge....

(i'm doomed) (it was fuckin hilarious seeing my reaction being the polar opposite to vaan going beserk and being a knucklehead again. like ok i know basch technically killed his brother but there's the wisdom of ice cold revenge and there's just being stupid and basically siccing the guards on yourself.)
also. THE BEARD of grief/shame. BARKING.
* anyway currently i left it right when basch joins your party at the bottom of where that cage thing crashed.
* also the waterways are so pretty?? i'm so used to sewer levels being brown/toxic green sludge fests but this was almost like a zelda water level, if not prettier. boring battles, but not horrible to wander through. so far i haven't had a total party kill though i'm going through phoenix downs concerningly fast in the prison. need to get at least one of the party learning revive asap.
* still learning How To Gambit but i've gotten up to a 13-chain... i feel like i'm getting better pretty quickly?
* love balthier and fran! i don't know if i have much to say other that i vibe extraordinarily with both of them and the pragmatism. and balthier low key being snarky-mentory towards vaan, lol.
* i have to remember to stick to 1-hour play-stints. after an hour straight i start getting woozy again but i really probably should be taking breaks anyway. :D;;;;;;; THIS IS BEING INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT WITH BASCH IN THE PARTY NOW.... gnawing at the bars.
