in hotel room typing this after a very emotionally intensive [family obligation trip] after an intense work week only to find a neighbor's massive dead tree took out the house's power and water lol...

(the best part is the hotel booking was still affected by crowdstrike to boot) 

can everything stop happening so much... orz
