experiencing the weirdest post-nut-esque-clarity re: art style?
aka this style i pivoted to for the latest comic does not spark joy tonight :(
(could be my remaining-secondary-cataracts-eye (also the primary eye) approaching the no horizon of 'how tf do i draw with this' (thankfully temporary and will be fixed next tuesday thank god), could be 'lol krad you pivoted too fast after binging pluto', or both)
i mean technically it does look better than the thin line style but it just feels so much more arduous auueueyghhhh [grumbles while crawling off to play more ff12]

(Anonymous) 2024-08-15 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)I also notice that when I start adopting and studying characteristics from other artists I enjoy that my "vision" of what is feasible expands a lot, and the results are very exciting and good-looking...but the act of drawing during that period of study is...for lack of better words, kind of also constipated? ^^;
Hoping you can find a happy medium with parts of the style that do spark joy! Urasawa's draftsmanship has a lot of great qualities to it and I can imagine that to study from it is strenuous.
