not sure if i'm like. that unpopular of an artist in terms of drawing themes or if i'm so far removed from discourse centrals i don't even notice people vagueblogging / snarking about me XD

( probably a mix of both! i get the feeling Quite a lot of people block me on both tumblr/bsky to avoid getting jumpscared by the occasional dead dove, but i honestly like that, no judgement there. a little barrier/friction is a very, very good thing, if there's anything that the web 2.0 has shown. ) 

anyway having a decent few days after being in a funk for a bit, working outside and re-finding some great industrial/synthpop hits thanks to this article. ^_^  been procrastinating on some hobby art projects, but drawing some new schmoopsy shit with the Muse (versus endlessly tweaking old complex artwork) put some fire back into me.

Oh god, what discourse is happening now... 👀 Feel you, I'd much rather someone just block me if I'm not their type, especially since I'll hardly rearrange my living room for a rando off the street.

oh some people being silly about labeling everything as hetslop when they don't know the details of some ships, and/or throwing the word around willy nilly. but given how they're acting i strongly suspect they're teenagers online and who cares in that case.

oh, jeez. I feel like that's the next word that can go up on the shelf, maybe. I have seen similar usage, yeah, like how I'd recently mentioned seeing it be used for femdom/malesub and pegging and it's like, well, first of all, I feel like that's partially the seinfeld problem, and second of all, yes, likely teenagers or other people who just don't have a lot of experience with the landscape of "trite" m/f romance tropes. I stay trite because even if it's not my taste, I'm certainly not grudging anyone enjoying some classic bodice ripping and the like.

XD ah, god, the urge to self-deprecate. I'll instead say, it's very useful for me when I am... shall we say... in a mood in which I need something very id-forward and thoughtless and want to lean into the sludge a bit XD
