kradeelav> me planning this micaiah n zihark confrontation strip because i have no life
okay, basic rules of this strip is that you want this to be a canon, cool and rough as hell character moment between two "nice" characters where one's ordering the other to do the unforgiveable thing he won't do. you know you have a honkin massive bias for zihark and let's actually try to make him way less likeable than micaiah here because a) he's being the aggressive one here(even though sort-of-ethically he's right) (krad shut up, micaiah's right in her own mind), and b) it's more fun if the conflict's a massive grey area c) talk about a meta flex back at yourself for good writing if you can do that convincingly
the crux is how to get in micaiah's head tho right, because this is sunk unless if you get her, what would you do in her shoes, lets say some dumb rando merc muscle questions Your Loyalty to That On- oh.oh.
jesus. fuck.. okay. that's different,.... i'd be.... hell, i'd be annoyed. pissed behind that blank pisces mask that the world's going to hell right when it went right for once and now this bitch decides to question the one thing that is unquestionable? because literally the loyalty's To Him is based on your mental calculations that he's doing the right thing, and the beauty of it is that Miccy can read Pelleas' mind-emotions and knows he's doing the most right thing, and cornered, even though she doesn't get the whys -

so they have the starting exchange where he confronts her in a hall w/out Sothe or something and she tries to bat him away, she's tired, she gives him the choice to leave, choice is always sacred to her, now more than ever, and then it gets to this impasse -
what's micaiah's defensive instincts? script wise, lesse... sarcasm and bitterness - well shit that's relateable. so she'd probably make this snarky as hell remark of 'so you want me to fly to begnion, beg to the Senate and ask them pretty please to ""just not mind us, we'll sit this one out""
and the dumb golden retriever that zihark is he's going to totally go 'yeah??' since the shock's still setting in and he has no idea where the fuck any of this is coming from or the world-wide implications quite yet (he probably still thinks this is just some nightmare or a mistake-) and she just.... oH MAN she just fucking starts laughing. she looses it. She gets it.
'cause zihark might be the one person to make miciaiah actually snap at somebody, he'd push, man. this is like the top tier What Is Important to him, and he's not afraid of like straight up killing people over it, and he wouldn't do that because she was a lowercase f-friend but i can see him actually blowing up at somebody over this too and oh shit fuck this is good shit -
