I’m gonna go on a wild goose chase looking for it but it was such an ubiquitous joke in the .hack fandom you had entire web rings and shit dedicated to dispelling it! Like, “Elk’s AroGrass is Not Weed Petition!” And stuff, it was all very silly but some poor fans took it so seriously as a detriment to their fave characters/ship! In retrospect Elk and Mia could have probably solved a few canon problems passing a joint and chilling. |D
