cozy old web things

kradeelavso i was going through my p massive 'genuine web 1.0 links' hoard that i collect (usually in JP).
i generally find them by ransacking the 'links/bkm' page to each and hopping outwards through that whole link maze (yours truly tries to make a point to visit at least 1 or 2 a day, especially in lieu of social media). anyway, I found this site which has some cool / unique as hell pixel fonts!
except! le pixel fonts were in a .sit file! which made me go ??? i generally know my way around the odder design extensions, but it turns out .sit's were popular back in the 90's as like, their version of .zip or .rar .... bahahah talk about a genuine old web sample!
anyway did some digging and it turns out on macs, the only thing that reliably unarchives them is The Unarchiver ... another piece of software from ~2007-2014..... suddenly having a machine from 2009 is an advantage for once! :D
lo and behold the .dmg works and i have... the pixel fonts!!
i'll probably mass download/convert them just to Have, but since the site is still up, i don't want to host them. that being said if you want some in the first link, happy to toss the file your way.
(god!!! this is exactly why i love deliberately going for old world links... i feel like i discovered like five things through that one rabbit trail!)
