kradeelavCleaning out the closet due to a parental-pushed Purge (mom Does This about every 3-5 months like clockwork, it's hilarious. I actually rather like it given it gives me an excuse to give stuff away and to look at some fun bits of history that I would've completely forgotten about).
- and I found my ectheliansexy zihark originals!!!! lol oh man look at the dates, this was barely right after RD was released and I was already a fangirl. xD;
this artist was super good with copics even back in the day and I'm impressed with how well preserved these still are... looking at the dA page, seems like she's still open for copic commissions still. Gonna add both of these to the fanshrine; i think i lost track of the digital files somehow.
ahhhh man i've embraced being an unironic fangirl lately (may have ordered another commission from a different artist for a promotion reward LOL) and it's great. one of those 'if it brings you joy, man, don't change it' feelings, doubly so if it's just one of those things that sticks around for a while- geez, how long ago was this? Fifteen years ago? o_O;
Relatedly, I always grin on seeing other fans/fangirls where that affection clearly stuck around for 10+ years, particularly if it's a niche piece of media or an unexpected character (The one Hojo fan/artist who's a sweetheart particularly comes to mind), so it's just ... really nice to see a similar feeling and fondness of a different era remain. I have deeper feelings about this, but this is already long enough lol.
