The texture is amazing for this. I would love to see a speedpaint video in the future if you're ever up to something like that.

absolutely! I just figured out how to record the screen in a pretty simple / painless way on the ubuntu laptop so it may happen within the year once when I feel more confident with painting xD

(in the meantime there's process screenshots through the post link ~ and most of the brushes are kyle t webster's photoshop brushes.)

(9&10 are indeed so much fun - some of the strongest characterizations there :D i've heard they're extremely hard to find, alas; hoping nintendo does a remaster of them soon. )

One day I'd love to check out 9&10. I'd love to see a remaster of them one day too!! They are sadly quite hard to find + very costly... One irl friend of mine was very lucky with the copies she got. While not cheap, they were leagues better in terms of prices that go for them these days. The increased price of gamecube and even some wii games now too ever since the pandemic hit doesn't help either.
