i've been playing wind waker for 30 minutes as a session after i sign off of the work computer almost as like, "mental wasabi"? a palate clenser between "work brain" , dinner, and then play/draw brain. it's been almost a little outrageously effective at cutting out that old time where i used to just be ... foggy-dead brain for a good two hours after work. trying to finish WW (just now getting ready to get in the earth temple), and then I think disco elaysium is due to arrive in late march and I'm hoping my eyesight will cooperate with that. (games with lots of / tiny text are hard these days.)

have had ~3 or so therapy sessions by now, and got a great vibe with the dude. he's similarly very, mmm, wary? of the whole ~medical data industry~ and has a lot of other things in common with me, so it was a good choice there.

made so ... many ... powerpoints in the last two days sheesh (lots of big ol' department-spanning projects started this month that require sign-offs from basically everyone above of me in the food chain, all the way up to the big daddy himself). i've always joked that suits "talk" purely in powerpoints and asdfgh am I becoming one of them LOL

made a push after hard-quitting social media two weeks or so ago to start a physical journal, and to tie in the to-do list (which i've kept up since august of last year), and it's holding up shockingly well. :o there's something so earnestly tactile about it all, about how it makes me "notice things" in the real world whether it's just cool observations about other people, places, or forcing me to sit with my thoughts and articulating them in a more vulnerable/free way than on here. "nature is healing" is a little overused as a funny meme but it strikes me as absolutely the sensation i've had in the last few weeks, between a lot of the above. between that and the cataracts and current events, it's a lot of ... 'in the moment' feelings. Being. Living. ~~the fact zihark's banner back in 2020 was literally called 'in the moment' makes me smile for similar reasons. fate has a funny sense of humor ~~~
