I'm 80% likely to do the tellius (/zihark) zine next after falke is done this summer (and fealty). the LoZ fanbook i ordered two months ago arrived and it's so lovely and inspiring me T_T

the thing is like, i can't figure out if i want to do a R18 tellius fanbook or a.... R18 zihark zine (follow ur dreams krad xD), or sfw version of both ...??
 
because half the ideas are sfw but there's a few that decidedly aren't lol, and I don't want to feel like i have to censor/cut out half of them just to ... idk, "fit a theme" better, i guess? when did the whole "if a thing is marked R18, it's gotta be chock full of only that" start in fandom?  i get not wanting to be surprised by intense art (s'why i do RSS readers), but - anyway! thoughts/ideas below: 

• andreas deja has an unbearably cool blog post series where he's showing Busch's Circus Alphabet figures and I so want to do the same for tellius characters as a whole. fantastic figurative practice. always wanted to draw each of the tellius characters at least once, and that'd be a good way to knock them out.
• (nsfw) i'm kind of shocked i haven't seen tellius bestiality art lmao. you've got like the whole fucked up sex pollen trope with the feral potion *right there* (/channels inner channer izuka), and like, believe me, i've seen probably 80-90% of tellius art at least before 2014; I used to collect this shit to a frankly nutty degree (modding for several fan art tumblrs, etc). there's plenty of big bewb hentai, sure, but nothing .... Interesting(tm).  the whole ashnard/almedha and rajaion "fucking an actual dragon" thing... perfect opportunity there that even actually fits in some level of "in character".
  
  • 100% confess that this being thought on out of Spite to FE antis in particular ... FE was the first time i had really seen puriteens infect a fandom and honestly there's a large part of me that's glad the game hasn't had a remake yet because I for sure would end up trolling the absolute living shit out of them these days, absolutely a little meaner than I should XD
  • THIS is why i need to be on a website by myself. must contain troll persona..........
• back to sfw but drawing the tellius birbs would be so much fun to practice bird emotions?  got a cute zine about "how to draw birds" recently that is giving me so many ideas for exaggerating their expressions.
• I've already mentioned some of the zihark zine ideas  here... adding the zihark/muarim-goes-feral idea :3c whump whump whump time
• pretty much every one of my nsfw zihark ideas fits this meme: :D;;;

aaaanyway the trick is not letting this scale up so beyond my endurance (it's happened with other zines). need to just start drawing these once a week and see where the muse takes me. :D

oh my god tellius feral one sex pollen has me going places. places i should not go, places i might not actually write, but man. ideas. there's a lot that could be done with that. (Do you mind if I file that away for later? I'd love to file that away as an idea for later.)

but yeah those are some interesting ideas! i know i definitely don't mind a mix of nsfw/sfw art in things. i'm definitely partial to tellius birds, but i'll definitely be interested to see what you end up making.

started doodling the tellius alphabet in a big way during a car trip today, so well, that part's happening at least. XD thanks for the kindness~

huh, two off-the-cuff theories for why there's not more bestiality art/fic around in Telliusland:

* i've noticed in the past on certain archives (e.g. literotica), depictions of bestiality get cracked down on surprisingly hard—often banned in the same tier as like, depictions of underage or whatever. it's unclear to me whether this is a "legal rules in some country i'm not aware of" thing or just a common norm even in nsfw spaces

* it seems like bestiality tends to hit a squick button for people more frequently than other niche fictional kinks? i only have a bit of anecdata here, but i'm familiar with the nsfw community in a fandom that has a pretty obvious "opportunity for bestiality here if you want it" thing from canon, and while the folks who are into that scenario are VERY into it (and all power to them), it's far less broadly popular than even relatively intense stuff like intense gore/mutilation or whatnot

all that being said that zihark/nailah art of yours still lives in my head rent-free and you should go where your id takes you :P

soooo funny story, your comment actually jogged my memory that it's either the credit card companies or paypal (there was a recent orange site link about it this past week, and i know it's a thing from the old comic publisher) that explicitly disallows human/animal fuckin even in art, which meant things got absolutely *hilarious* when they had to define furry art in these Very Serious legalese pages ... oh to be a fly on the wall during that board meeting.

u kno tho, yeah you're not wrong with bestality art being a hard trigger even beyond that (there's some kink artists that I hang with on a regular basis who we joke the unholy canceling trinity is art of lolisho, bestality, and nazis lol. sometimes incest gets switched in).

ANYWAY lol all that to say [rubs grubby lil hands all over canon with a shit eatin grin XD] doing my best to revive the spirit of the old FE kink meme ... mining that might actually be fun heh
