1. fucking the chained Monster in the (father's?) basement / Monsterfuckers Anonymous
Hellsing's built on this. One Hundred Thousand Kingdoms, natch. Koschei the Deathless is perhaps the Ur-example, what with a literal immortal lich/demon-of-death in the wife's basement (do.... do you think she was doing anything else with a literal dungeon and very bangable monster-toy there?) Bonus: original mythos had a streak of cuckoldry in there, I'm surprised nobodyexcept me is taking advantage of that fucked as hell threesome. :v
Anyway, monsters are hot. death gods and the erotic is like ... peanut butter and jelly. them in dungeons and begging for release (in several ways) is where it's at, babey.
2. hot bodyguards gonewild wrong (not sorry)
forget the romantic pining version of bodyguards, I'm here for the ugly sleezy seedy shit where he's all but seducing the princess and every married maid from way too young. shiny, shiny boots, uniformed silver fox Daddy bodyguards with a lust for women, power, and bending over both in dark hallways on his knee until they whimper. There's something about the double-power inversion (with the princess technically being his "superior", but sheer experience/id seduction/institutional authority/etc tilting it wildly in his favor) that's ... [chef kiss]
3. dub-con so black there's a VC firm that's suing over it / coercion / corruption
I like reading non-con as well in certain moods, don't get me wrong - but there's something extra juicy about that one shade of hesitation or plausibility in any kind of unequal / coercive / hate sex sort of collision course where they know it's a bad idea, one of them is leading the other into it with a (dick shaped) carrot, or slowly fucking them until they sort-of like it, or at least forced to consider they may be not-as-straight/kinkier than they thought in whatever respects. (Shard/Hardin absolutely belongs here)
4. I Have You Now, My Pretty
Villains are fucking hot. Explicit skewed power dynamic, kneeling in the throne room, the ol' update to the sex-slave-to-the-conquerer shtick. It's Bad, it's Wrong, but very much a classic in fandom since day one given the sheer gaggles of Sephiroth loyalists, and the Vader-fuckers. :v It's an excuse to let loose with the very worst that your id has to give, and know that you're still more likely to be skittish of whatever they have to offer. That absolute subjection mixed with naked reason to fear - and usually some kind of precedent to actually fear, rather than someone dressing up in a shitty band shirt and a leather jacket.
(You gotta set the mood, dears. gravitas, DRAMA.)
5. Posession / interrogation / Mindfuck
Sex and kink is very ... physical. Sensual. so naturally, when the body and/or mind betrays the person - there's an extra level of taboo about that perversion and loss of control from a very base and raw painfully vulnerable sort of sense. (amused that loss of control is such a constant in all of these, heh.)
If possession is this trope for the body, hijacking it and laying waste to any rhyme or reason in terms of reason to enjoy sensation with naked abandon - the mindfuck is the other side of the coin. Trapping the body and focusing purely on breaking through the barriers people naturally have until the same level of vulnerability and sensitivity is exposed; it's a purer version, in some ways.
