something i've always wondered if some sort of demon-posessed coder has tried to make (or translate) a coding language that's as plain English as humanely possible just for the sheer lulz and annoying actual programmers ;D;;;

i mean, both for that, but also because i'm mildly annoyed at obscure bash commands and there are some commands that make me want to shake whoever wrote bash and go w HY? (especially chmod. who the fuck would think chmod > change mode > change file permissions?)

but for a slightly more reasonable example like, take $sudo apt get-install -wine
in "translate bash" that'd be >> $ super user do advanced packaging tool get install -(wine)

with enough drinks and googling and patience, sure, you can kinda sorta de-translate it, BUT:
in my cursed "plain english code", it'd be >> admin install wine

THREE WORDS, my man!
this makes me want to look up how to make your own programming language for the lulz

(anyway thank u for listening to my rant, i am not entirely as annoyed as i am slightly amused at how lovecraftian code gets)

Then again, I'm petty and would love to see a coding language that's easier but would annoy programmers, if only so they know what it's like to feel stupid :'D Because some of them certainly think you're stupid just because you had questions about how, you know, something works...

At the same time, I'm always in awe of how someone can "talk" in this code and able to create essentially magic on web XD

:D indeed, I wonder if there's perhaps some code people that actually teach code like that .... already, trying to reverse engineer it this way ("why do you do it like x instead of y?" is giving some pretty fascinating results on why there's those weird little quirks of the system.

(amen tho to it being magic ... and these days the foundation of commerce and civilization stands on top. it's enough to sit back and think with awe for a whole afternoon.
