Heard a cool little party question from a friendo on mastodon:
If you were a diety, which 3 things would you rule over?
Feel free to comment with what you'd think would go for yourself - would love to hear. :)
It was a bit ... interesting realizing what came first to the mind for me, with none of them being exactly the most positive things. pisces/eighth house vibes though, hell yes.
- deception for survival / subverting power dynamics out of need, self defense and tools meant to be used against Authority
- zero, infinity as an end (hearkening a beginning), zero as one-half of binary, the machine to the biological, a spent bullet-shell.
- dignity (and yes, owned power) in self-deterioration and decay

Very interesting question to think about, not sure what I'd choose for myself, things like "decadence" or "self-indulgence" come to mind. Maybe "taint" or "ruin"? Definitely "rottenness" tho lol.

I'm very sorry 🥲 I remember being very happy when I got the e-mail notification with this reply. And I did in fact enjoy the song a lot, and will treasure it in my heart forever ❤

I'm just a big fan of geese, tbh. We had them as a kid and I never knew I was supposed to be scared of them or how aggressive they could get, so I always was super friendly to them as a kid when I saw them in not at home places. It never backfired, which good for kid me, I guess.
There's just something cool about geese--especially canadian geese--and how doggedly protective and aggressive they are, but also how loyal they can be.

really really love how you tied all three of your "diety" themes, for lack of a better word together. just feels like natural/mythical cycles kind of like how there was usually a sun god, huntress goddess, etc.
presumably the geese thought of you as one of their kind and didn't bother you over it. ;P I love that you've had that connection with them!

was going for a cycle thing like that, and I had fun matching things up!
I actually haven't played Untitled Goose Game! I watched a little bit, but it's just one that I never got around to. I definitely thought it looked fun, but I have this weird part of me that gets kinda defensive about geese being mean or talking about how they're all mean *because* of how much i liked them growing up.
I need to give it a shot, probably if I find it on sale.
