spoilering for this game is hard since you have total freedom of where and when you want to do it. so here, i'll leave the vague region unspoilered, and then this post on my journal page will have black text on black for the spoilered bits. it's not perfect if you want to go in completely blind, but it should still keep the spirit of the event a lovely surprise. (if you comment, all I ask is to maintain the same spoilering policy, danke in advance.)
( anyway this playthrough is basically 'if i had a nickle for every time this game brained me over the head with a steel chair of an AWESOME surprise when i was mentally thinking 'nah games can't be that cool/they're limited by the memory/etc' i'd have 20+ nickles and counting'. SPOILERS AHOY. )
