kradeelav: Dr. Kiriko (amused)
being maliciously compliant with an additional flavor of 'so perkily cheerful that it annoys the right people, every time' is so much fun to flex with >:D

addendum: you know, i had a character i rp'd as for a few years at one point who inadvertently taught me that the person to loose composure first in a row is the one that lost. fight cold, if you must fight at all - and all other avenues are exhausted. and i feel like being obnoxiously pleasant/unflappable/placid is absolutely a version of that. might be a ... little unhealthy in some ways (via repressing emotions), but man, the advantages always outweigh the disadvantages to me, especially if you're very good at this.

kradeelav: Dr. Kiriko (amused)
so i tested something out on bsky on a whim this past week, of reblogging an old but very popular art in a different fandom in comparison to the current fe:fates spam - and it absolutely flopped (as i thought it would, lol). which i feel like it proves my theory that social media will absolutely punish a creative for mixing up / switching themes/subjects even without an algorithm.

so i'm going to take the next few weeks of spamming the bsky solely with doujin wips (i *do* need to make a concerted push to finish it. and the work's not unenjoyable). but i am deliberately going to run that motherfucker in the ground with this push - i suspect i'll get 500-1k followers with this on the low end. (so when it's all said and done by June, a little under 3k)

i'll be in the desperate mood to switch fandoms/styles afterwards (i NEED to draw tellius for my soul god) anyway so that dead engagement lull i'm expecting afterwards won't really..... matter?

anyway, posting this for transparency/showing how my brain works when testing shit with the social-media manager brain. :v  even as much as it sounds here i care less for numbers than actively and accurately being able to put my hands on the levers while still having the artist-veto.
