i love* linux b/c you can be an artist herpaderping all bob ross-ing along

and find a new setting in krita where you can RECORD YOUR AWESOME ARTWORK PROGRESS (omg) (i haven't done that in decades)

u do it, then you save and whoop, weird little error of:

> No such filter: 'xfade' [in ffmpeg]

> Error initializing complex filters.

hmm that's strange i don't recall installing ffmpreg mpeg, where is this varmit....

[does a bash search]

wait what the fuck the only mention of it (other than the location itself) is in hydrus? (another fun little third party program that's the absolute best image sorter imo)

feels like the easy thing should be to uninstall and reinstall it, right?

.... right?
and before you know it, two hours later you're 432214 firefox tabs deep in what is the debate of installing things with a package vs a snap because you're too busy trying to figure out how the fuck it was installed to begin with lol

(( *this is said sincerely but with not a small bit of fond mixed exasperation, much like a beloved pet that's just shat on the floor l o l. ))

Of course I had to read twice on the mpreg part lmao umm..
damn, at some point I hated when I was re-installing and installing things that wasn't working on my old winXP, but at the same time I really MISS when I could just hack any software/find easily any movie/personnalize to the max my computer :(

I feel like a lot of stores destined to buy old tech disappeared :/ I think theyre easier to find online (on websites like ebay)
Mmh to be fair, the younger people I know rarely buy/or keep old tech...
