so iron crown's (my old on hiatus webcomic) plot was mostly about dictators and mercenaries, right? it wasn't professionally researched but i think i did a pretty good job for a college student who read 50+ books about them and a hyperfixated interest for a good 5 years.

a small part of me getting fed up writing the webcomic is that every fucking month since 2014, some kind of soap opera esque news story would break that rendered my meticulously 'is this realistic' researched and thought-out plotline absolutely. fucking OBSOLETE. like reality would be some kind of metal gear plotline while mine looked boring as fuck

and then yesterday , FUCKING YESTERDAY LOL

i find out there's a bitch of a merc leader with a real name of Bobrov, literally a joke name i used to annoy the shit out of a friend with ten years ago when they were teasing me for using variants of "Bob" for all of their placeholder characters lol.
