neotula had a great post/challenge here about posting the top 5 most personally horny creations you've made. including both art and fic here.

1) diane/hardin is a (technically crack) ship from my old webcomic, IRON CROWN. IC, as I'm sure a few of you realized much sooner than I did, had a pretty okay story, but i kinda got distracted between the uniforms and how balls to the wall hot diane/hardin was given he's her security chief that ends up trying to kill her and their chemistry kinda brained me lol. cheatin' with a few pieces here. down the road i'd be willing to entertain making a doujin of just the two of them for old times sake.

the first piece is what kind of ding'd the lightbulb for me. think a lot of this stems from me way back then in the middle of struggling with 'uniform kink evil' feelings in a bad way - and i swear the more you push against something the more it's going to make itself known.





2) integra/alucard (from hellsing) singlehandedly got me to make my first nsfw blog on tumblr (notkrad), right about the time i was making the above webcomic. a large part of it is the larger fandom likes to make him the one on top, which is incandescently out of character to me lol, and annoying enough I was more than happy to draw it quite explicitly with her pegging him here. her authoritative coldness here as he's groaning like a stuck pig? hot.




3) i've attempted to clean up this piece before, but there's an inexplicable mutual-trust-vulnerability-nakedness here that still hits me right every time. can't improve this one.



4) the smut in ghost in the dunes, my nailah/zihark fic.

nailah topping? hot. the smidge of friction/frission/emotional tusslin' between them when he gets pissy? hot. nailah almost breaking his nose in the sparring? misuse of vulenaries? hot hot. i think this is when a lightbulb went off in my mind of 'oh shit whump is hot' and i took a good long look of where to scratch at it here. still extremely proud of this fic for the mixture of 'fascinating blorbos to rotate' and 'actual plot and worldbuilding that didn't get sidelined by the smut' but also 'really hot smut that was elevated by the former'. i fully intend on making an illustration page of scenes from this fic.

5) i've been purposefully clowning the fuck around said whump itch with the illustrations for KILLING EDGE in the last 3 months and yeah a few of them 100% make it on this list. it's real nice to actually be able to laser-target and execute the horny for once versus accidentally stumbling on it.

i downloaded that art dump you posted at some point - the big one - and i definitely loved the diane/hardin stuff i saw there. it was wild, super fun, super cool tension.

hee hee, thank you for kicking off this challenge, you're right it was a fun one. i feel like whump is one of those universal things that - it can both be and not be a kink, but it is *very* pleasing to see the faves decorated as such ;) thanks for the kind words!

oh man that inegra/alucard art is so good, especially her cold analysis of hos ecstacy. damn. also always love to see characters forced down onto the ground like in your "killing edge" excerpts. always fun when you realize youre into something and can have that laser focus on what exactly excites you about a specific act/scenario.

Why hello I'm always glad to see Diane/Hardin on my timeline! You were the key that unlocked gun kink for me, so I'm always excited to see them back on my feed.

Looking over all of these together, you have a real knack for depicting characters who look nailed to the ground even when they aren't physically restrained. Very impressive.

and thank you for the kind words what with the specifics of characters on the ground, heh. innit visceral? i find you get a ton more mileage with the view there, both in terms of fic and art, and have loved seeing you take advantage of that with your own fics too. :)
