sudden brain wave that after this current wave of obligations (FE collab, some tricky chapters in YRMR, nazine anthology) i really want to play silent hill 2.

i finally played OG!FF7 back in 2020 (listening to one winged angel in the flesh so to speak seriously made me cry ngl) and star fox 64/mario 64 were gonna be the next two "classic games" to hit, but i was listening to akira yamaoka's flawless soundtrack as i've done since like, literal middle school ('your rain' is arguably the most played track for me, ever), and ... yeah. i gotta experience this in the original world it inhabited.

yeah yeah yeah i can't wait!!! PYRAMID HEAD! i know it's such a fucked up game but it's the kind of crunchy shit i'm looking for this year.

HELL YES, I am HERE for your Silent Hill 2 liveblogging! I play that game every so often myself, it's a weirdly nostalgic game and playing it always knocks a few things loose that I didn't even know needed fixing.

You are even cooler now that I know you're a SH fan, and you were already pretty dang cool in my eyes. ;) Even more excited for the playthrough now! I can see how the game would be cathartic.
