kradeelavI finally reached 2,100 orbs in the FE gacha.
mentioning here since a) it's been fun, i've been playing since 2020 and sunk an ungodly amount of hours in it, certinally more than most mainline games especially with looking up FEH news, but i'm. tired. i'm done. and b) i've been wanting to "audit/clean" where i spend my time (will do a dreamwidth spring clean too), and that was a big negative time-sink/activity on the cutting block.
it's bittersweet as that was my specific goal of putting it on ice/indefinite hiatus. (2.1k orbs is roughly the average luck it takes to instantly +10 a 5-star unit - in non gacha babble, basically "complete" your favorite blorbos for all general purposes; so like if say base!zihark finally got in, i could pick the app up and instantly outfit him.)
basically the only two remaining characters i'd give a shit about genuinely completing is base zihark and possessed!gunter, and this last FE art/writing collab I'm getting ready to post w/somebody is... funnily enough... basically a fake version of the other blorbo i haven't done yet. :P
doing this collab was in some ways, feels like an ironic way to say goodbye to the gacha, kind of a 'you don't need a predatory game to do some cool as hell shit like improving on art in ways you've never done before. plus collaborating with somebody and sharing in the character happiness is half the point of fandom'
(I could be cheeky and say writing kinky indulgent porn is the other half. and well. there's truth to that.)
time to axe some more irrelevant time sinks ~
