"Normal" sexuality, the commission implies, is never violent, not even in the imagination. The attack on violence, together with the rhetoric of harm borrowed from radical feminism - replacing an older and less effective conservative rhetoric opposed simply to immorality, "smut" or just plain bad art - allows this arm of the "moral majority" to assert sexual norms under the  guise of protecting pornography's victims.
