family bonding over voodoo dolls

me: ... aww you did a great job photographing her furniture. btw does grandmother still have that voodoo doll* thing lol
mom: YES
mom: I ALWAYS HATED THAT THING
dad: [from another room] you mean chucky?
mom: i think you mean chuck-ett. hers was a girl
me: omg
dad: we have to set that chuck-it on fire
mom: [latin accent coming out] nonono we are getting good money for that thing on ebay. and it's not chuck-it like chucking it out the yard, it's chuck-ett.
me: [audibly cracking up]
me: chuck the chuckett


*(think one of those very fancy 1940's porcelain dolls that said grandmother loved to pieces but has the most infinitively creepy look. mom made dad put it in the closet the first time she was over at said grandmother's house lol... i'm surprised it didn't scare her off entirely from marrying him XD )

right?? i wonder if they'd feel like our chibis or anime figurines are equally as creepy... kind of fun to imagine :P
