This started as a 2D animation "to watch/ rated" page way back when I had a tumblr; I tend to not like live-action media. Over time, there's been enough games and occasional movies recommended to me that I wanted to keep a place to track them and that wasn't on a third party site that I didn't trust. (It also makes organizational sense to have most media on one page).

Don't know how you get around to stuff on your list, but just want to second Revolutionary Girl Utena, its pace can be slow, but it has a lot of dark, queer themes and a striking aesthetic

Excellent to know! Honestly I love the old school Evangelion-esque surrealism (that's 'too real' in ways that's hard to get a pulse on) so that one's going to be next on the list if there's any guess. Thanks again for the double rec and the interest! :)
