kradeelavi've been blabbering about tellius meta (with a slight side of selfship) on the fe tumblr lately, dumping a few of the text heavy posts. will post some of this with artwork eventually on the artblogs. supports/flavor text definitely inspired by how kidlightnings did it :3
redesigning bright eyes' design (again) for tellius and it's a fun challenge because i never have loved rd's dark mage designs but whatever. i'd be a bad designer if i couldn't make it work, and i like how it's like the one class designed with no player character (izuka uses a different battle model, so freerealestate.jpg)
and the izuka-but-slightly-less-hilariously-overtly-evil parallels (plus pelleas to a lesser extent) are 100% intended since bright eyes was kinda designed after a fem!hojo look for fun subversion factors. and also i lowkey headcanon she took over izuka's (benign) paperwork duties as well as investigating said war crimes for that brief part of daein while P2 is going on after he bailed.
anyway yeah i can work with this direction, silhouette's working :3c

what i also love about bright eyes taking over izuka's paperwork is:
1 - you need somebody who is literate (implied to be a more limited skill especially with pelleas not knowing), preferably who can also do some forms of magic.

Bright Eyes
A mage that helps Tauroneo in Daein's reconstruction. In Izuka's disappearance, the only replacement that Almedha did not immediately dismiss. Among other scribe duties, she investigates Ashnard's and Begnion's war crimes.

Zihark: My lips are sealed. Truth be told, I imagine working with Lady Almedha is a similar workout in patience.

BE: Oh that, it's a mess after Izuka disappeared; we're still findin' papers missing, and there was so much of Ashnard's crimes against laguz we have yet to uncover.
Zihark: I remember, the two of us were sent to several of the Mad King's fortresses to dig out some evidence before the reconstruction damaged them. Hopefully those books were useful to you.
BE: They sure seemed promising, but that was put on hold with - well. Micaiah's orders.
Zihark: …
Zihark: You were looking for me?
BE: Right. … I'll make this quick. I have a strange ask for you.
Zihark: Yes?
BE: Here are records that may be of interest to you that i discovered in one of those archives. Don't open them now - do it later in private. All other similar records have been destroyed for safety with what's happening now.

2 - somebody (in micaiah/sothe/tauroneo's eyes) who's not going to be as hilariously evil as izuka (even if they don't know about his experiments/blood pact betrayal yet that thing with muarim would be uhhhhh. yeah. and the suggested lake poisoning.) she's no saint but there's a logic that micaiah/(zihark) can work with.
3 - you need somebody who can put up with both pelleas and almedha (and very briefly) izuka.
