Oh thank you so fucking much for linking this, ugh. I've been unable to sift through the news lately and the Twitter Screaming (while justified) has been frazzling me so, so bad. Y'know, nbd, just over here terrified for peoples safety and feeling utterly helpless to do anything because I'm broke and can't protest. >__o;

feeling you so, so much with the frazzled over justified-twitter-screaming, hugs. i do think it needs to be stated more often that it can be a serious drain on people's already-fragile mental health, full stop.

but yeah, had to straight up go cold turkey there because Could Not Deal (also with the performative vibe which isn't my cup of tea), but i figured at least privately redirecting efforts in ways more ... synergetic? with my personal style is at least a way of helping. (aka self education via books while supporting black authors, boosting morale, using art to donate...)

here's to making the world a better place while all hanging in there. <3

BLESS This is the best news I’ve seen in what feels like fucking years. Also if you got like, links to that book or something I’d be super interested. It feels like years as well since I’ve actually read something on racism that wasn’t in the form of blog and twitter posts and really that’s probably not... great. ^^;
