Favorite & Least Favorite Color: am i totally That Old Goth that says black goes great with everything? Is leather a color? Least favorite ... idc if it's sexist, i still don't like pink or any pastels. Shit's too washed out.

The Last Film I Watched (and why): 50 Shades Darker with the girlfriend because it makes for a hilarious date movie to throw popcorn at. :v The Duke of Burgundy is the next up on the list - tentatively hopeful to see what an indie movie does with a kinky lesbian relationship.

The Last Show I Watched (and why): DragonBall Z (Abridged) with the girlfriend again 'cause it's her favorite show and she guessed correctly it'd be a barrel of belly laughs and feelings at the same time. Hoping once when 'covid's over, we can cosplay Krilin/18; we've both got the looks to pull it off convincingly.

Your Favorite Original Character: Whoo, this one's harder now that I actually like a few. Interestingly, Rozier (ex-cultist sort-of-kinky-preacher-and-300%-a-pisces who I never got around to showing in IC yet) is up there - I should do a character sheet of him for fun. Still have a soft spot for the garbage can that is Hardin that I'll freely admit now.

Sparkling Water, Tea, or Coffee: I'd set sparkling water on fire, shit's not traditional ~~fire~~ water. Coffee's one of my few actual vices, tho I won't say no to some good hot tea.

Honestly the entire question and answer format, back in the early and mid-2000's, especially on sites like DA and lj, you'd see lots of lil "memes" like this, simple "get to know me" sort of things, ways to encourage more positing, sharing and content! My faves were always the OC interviews, Mary Sue tests and the little writing prompt or silly scenarios (ie list ten random ocs or so and ix and match them in adlibs scenarios to see how they'd interact together! "Quick, character 8 has been invited to a party with character 5! And they're in the same outfit! Who has to change?")

Even "tagging" others in. I suppose this sort of thing never truly died down but I saw far less of it on tumblr and image/short character limit sites like twitter weren't very...well suited to the longer, more familiar, informative or RP-like memes of this kind! Things like this probably evolved into inbox and ask prompts as folk adapted to newer types of social media and popular websites!

zomg the 'oc adlib scenarios' memes were SO much fun to draw/do on deviantart for sure - they took a hell of a lot of time to do, but it was worth it just to see the genuine hilarity that would unfold, especially if there was one or two canon characters that were thrown in the mix for an easier "bead" on personalities and jokes. you're making me want to dig up a few just to remember. <3

Heck I wanna do some now! XD It was such a fun challenge too, really made you think outside the box when presented with scenarios you wouldn’t normally put characters in! Does edgelord loner McGee hate socializing? Too bad now he’s on a HOT DATE with his WORST ENEMY and someone forgot their WALLET! Also the restaurant is on rainbow unicorn fire!

also same on the colors. I'm not a pastel person and even now I've mostly got over my stereotypical "trans man refuses to own pink things" phase I'm still not a fan. slate grey is one of my favorites.

slate grey is EXCELLENT taste, that would've been my second choice, yes. there's so much subtleties you can pair with that flavor there.
