kradeelavthere is something extremely wholesome/satisfying about like... randomly emailing [ lauded designers / programmers ] with a friendly heads up their RSS feeds are broken and getting into a fun chat with them via email after the fixes are done lol
like, there's a ton to say about being a good steward of the Old Internet (fixing articles and/or links, adding resources where appropriate) bla bla
but also
it's just fun to (metaphorically) yell 'o hey! you have cool shit!' at somebody who you'd never ever cross paths with IRL.
