he is an extension of her mind and monsterhood - he is her great and terrible terror and need to blindly destroy when men with guns were sent to kill her as a child. he was her helpless rage then, and her rage now - the extension of her terrible and corrosive power and legacy (forcibly given), gone wrongwrongwrong. he is her broken innocence (simply wronged and smashed and twisted in different times) - and that small and lingering flame of hope of acceptance and the need to remake oneself to set things right.

#hellsing is the world's best monster story wrapped in the silliest package possible #hellsing is about a teenage girl coping with evil and loss of power and regaining it tenfold #and learning just how corrosive power can be #hellsing is about acceptance with it all.that long and slow and painful road that takes decades - but you will get there. # - (to a lesser extent pip is also this for seras) #( PIP LITERALLY BECOMES SERAS' PERSONIFICATION OF A MONSTER IT DOESN'T GET MORE OBNOXIOUSLY CLEAR THAN THAT) #there is a lot wrong with hellsing but i forgive it all for this
