it's that time of year i'm starting to think about resolutions and making sure i did the previous year's set ... not done yet, but since august have been making a sincere effort to actually *close out* non-art projects. (art stuff has been in a weird hiatus since moving computers, i just haven't had the energy to draw for 6+ hours straight which i need to crack an art block successfully).
the funny thing is that i haven't felt ... that productive ... this whole year even though objectively i know i was. :v toooo prove myself wrong, gonna write down "thing accomplished for each month":
- january - created 1/2 of what greater sin zine (NSFW, on hiatus)
- february - created leather resources (site essay / link collection)
- march - co-created/released a 18+ print zine, SAFETY OFF
- april - created advice from an anonymous corporate designer (site essay)
- may - co-created/released No Time for Caution, a kindle & paperback romance novel
- june - created the zihark fan shrine. :')
- july - successfully manage'd an intern ~
- august -
survived hell month. also got promoted x2. - september - made the great krad art dump aka posting all of my art in a zip file
- october - created a personal craft book for one of my grandmas
- november - ??? / if nothing happens, moving computers for the first time in 12 years is a big enough ordeal ig
- december - ??? / create(ing) a promised family book for my mom
(i actually like this system of holding myself accountable to around one big thing per month. the only change I'd make for next future is doing less projects for other people (aka learning to say no more) and having more art projects and zine mixed in with non-art work like essays and sites.
